Braunton CrestFollowing the Local Government Elections on May 3rd 2007 Braunton Parish Council now has 8 newly elected Councillors with 5 being re-elected for another term of office (4 years).  Since then, Cllr Mrs June Pearson resigned and due to this vacancy Cllr Peter Lord was elected, uncontested, with effect from 18 June 2008 for Braunton East Ward.
