Welcome
BRAUNTON PARISH COUNCIL

Braunton is a large village in the South West of England situated 5 miles west of Barnstaple and 2 miles from the Braunton Burrows and Saunton Sands Beach.
Braunton is in the centre of North Devon's world class UNESCO Biosphere Reserve with the Burrows at it's core. The Great Field on the edge of the Village is one of the last remaining examples of medieval strip farming and is next to the reclaimed Braunton Marshes.
This website has been designed and constructed to provide what is hoped to be a valuable tool in keeping the Parishioners of Braunton informed and up-to-date with what is happening in the Parish, together with the Parish Newsletter 'The Braunton Express'.
At this stage the site is currently under further construction but it is hoped that once it is completed, it will be used to involve local people more in what is happening and improve communication - thank you for your patience.
